Glorifying God through Song on Music Sunday
There were many things about Music Sunday, a worship where the music was the message on February 28th, that made it special. Two of them were the LightHearted Kids and Heirborn Youth.

The Light Hearted Kids felt a little vulnerable when the leaders asked them to sing "Use Me" acapella, but they knew the song really well and conquered their nerves. Everyone appreciated the special prayer and was reminded that God wants to use each of us, young and old, to spread the love and glory of Christ. The kids also got to make a very energetic contribution to the service with their choreography to "Let's Go," encouraging everyone to get out there and tell the whole world the Good News. |
| Heirborn, meanwhile, broke out their new t-shirts and struck a hero pose. They shared a great new song that will be part of VBS Praise and Worship this coming summer. In it, they claim God as their hero and ask, through Him, to become a hero, too. They called the kids forward, so the kids could practice the moves along with the youth. Making it especially fun, the youth came up with capes and sunglasses to complete their heroic appearance. |

The service also featured special numbers by the choir, the Bluegrass group, and a visit from the Chin Baptist Choir. No one was left out, as the congregation shared in the songs led by the Praise Team, and Don Keyworth and Pastor Ken led some old fashioned hymn-singing, as well! Guests, friends, and members alike were invited to eat and visit at a potluck afterward. The Lord was glorified and praised in song; thanks be to God.
