Heirborn is getting a head start on the "hero" theme that will be spreading around Westover this spring and summer.  We're studying Bible stories where people who behaved heroically aren't even mentioned by name.  These ordinary people stepped outside the norms of their times to "do something unexpected," "take action," "step out on faith," "save the day," and "stand for truth."  From their example, we are learning that when we "join forces with God," we don't need super-strength to make a difference.

We're having a lot of fun with our theme so far.  We are making plans to order some flashy hero shirts and hope to inspire ourselves and others to attempt some heroics of their own!
