Time-out

Time-out

Have you wondered why God has put the whole world in this time out because of the coronavirus?  Is not the Lord of the universe seeking to get our attention?   What will it take?   What did God use to bring you to salvation?   What an opportune time to point people to the hope we have in Jesus.  He is the only solid rock.  “On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand.”   Another song says, “In times like these you need a Savior, in times like these you need an anchor;  Be very sure, be very sure;  Your anchor hold and grips the Solid Rock!   This Rock is Jesus, Yes, he’s the one; This Rock is Jesus, The only one…”  Point people to Jesus.   Show them the love of Jesus.   Pray without ceasing.   I know that God is at work.  Do you see it?

Psalm 46 says “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.  Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging…The Lord Almighty is with us;  the God of Jacob is our fortress.  Come and see the works of the Lord…Be still, and know that I am God;  I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

God says “Be still, and know that I am God.”  A time out is an opportunity to be still and to quiet yourself.   Turn off the TV.   Take time to be by yourself and seek the Lord with your whole heart.  Ask God to reveal himself to you.   This could be a turning point and the start of revival.
